The Pair in Her Face

During this performance, I dress and undress myself in a full length paper suit which I have monoprinted a naked self-portrait onto. I walk around and hold prolonged eye-contact with various members of the audience. The performance is an exploration of the conventions which exist around looking at paintings of female nudes, and uses awkward, clunky vulnerability as a means of creating connection.
